Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

What is Therapeutic Yoga?

Therapeutic Yoga is a personalized, goal-oriented approach that uses movement, breathwork, mindfulness, relaxation practices, and wellness education to support overall wellbeing. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs, abilities, and goals.

Do I need yoga experience?

Not at all. Sessions are designed for beginners through experienced practitioners and are adapted to meet you where you are today.

I'm not flexible. Can I still participate?

Absolutely. Flexibility is not required. Therapeutic Yoga focuses on meeting your body where it is today and creating practices that feel supportive, accessible, and sustainable.

How are goals created?

Goals are co-created based on your unique needs, experiences, and intentions. During your initial consultation, we will explore what brought you to practice and what you hope to gain from our work together.

Some clients seek greater strength, mobility, balance, or endurance. Others may be looking for support with stress management, relaxation, breath awareness, recovery, or overall wellbeing.

Together, we will create meaningful goals that align with your life, values, and current circumstances.

I believe that the healing potential already exists within you. My role is not to fix you, but to provide guidance, education, and practices that support your body's innate capacity for growth, adaptation, and wellbeing.
